Le 11 specie sono state reperite in mwdgAsia sudorientale, mwdwIndia, mweaFilippine, mweqGiappone, mwegCina, mwewAngolacite-ref-worldspidercatalogue-1-0[1].

Per la descrizione delle caratteristiche di questo genere sono stati esaminati gli esemplari tipo di mwggT. maxillosus mwhaC. L. Koch, 1846cite-ref-worldspidercatalogue-1-1[1].

Questo genere è stato rimosso dalla sinonimia con mwigMyrmarachne a seguito di un lavoro di Prószyński del 2016cite-ref-worldspidercatalogue-1-2[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2021cite-ref-worldspidercatalogue-1-3[1].
